January 17, 2010 the Quebec City Kebs tipped off for the time in the 2010 Premier Basketball League (PBL) season against the Manchester Millrats. The Kebs fought hard in the second quarter closing the Millrats lead to 61-43. The Millrats strong defence and power shots were unyielding throughout the game. As the pressure surmounted in the fourth quarter both teams played tight defence. In the end the Manchester Millrats brought home the game winning 121 – 94.
Samuel Audet-Sow (6'5" power forward) continues to be a force to contend with on the court playing over 39 minutes and scoring 26 points for the Kebs. Jeremy Bell (6'1" point guard) played over 35 minutes and scored 21 points. Alejandro Hasbani Head Coach for the Quebec City Kebs brought back three players from last season. Jamaal Wise (6'6" power forward) who scored 12 points and John Ruffus (6'8" power forward) adding another 13 points to the Kebs scores and local champion Charles Fortier (6'4" guard).

The final away game in January scheduled for January 29, 2010 against PBL newcomers the Puerto Rico Capitanes. The Kebs next home game will be on February 6, 2010 against the Buffalo Stampede starting at 7:30pm at Laval University’s PEPS Stadium.
