The Quebec City Kebs were defeated 70-91 against the best team in the Premier Basketball League (PBL), the Puerto Rico Capitanes.  The teams played before an enthusiastic crowd of 3,000 people at the Shawinigan Bionest Center, in the province of Quebec. The Quebec City Kebs once again experienced a difficult night, having a slow and laborious start. They were quickly dominated by the powerful Puerto Rican Team 19-12 in the first quarter. The Kebs were unable to gain their balance until the 2nd quarter, passing 26 baskets versus 24 for the Capitanes. Samuel Audet-Sow once again showed his start quality during this quarter, making 3 baskets in the final two minutes, bringing the score at the half to 38-43 in favor of the Capitanes. Third quarter intense as each team vied for control scoring 19 points.

The last 9 minutes of the match the Kebs were only 3 points behind. In the last minute the Capitanes broke free to deliver 6 points, succeeding in breaking the morale of the home Team. Driven with fatigue, lacking conviction and accuracy in their shots, the Kebs, watched up close as the talented team from the Puerto Rico show them why it is at that they are at the forefront of the PBL. "Puerto Rico is a team that plays very well and has many talented players capable of scoring from any position on the court" notes Quebec City Kebs, Head Coach Alejandro Hasbani. "They really benefited in the 4th quarter benefited from our main shortcoming… difficulty in landing 3-point shots," concluded Hasbani.

Quebec City Kebs key players in the game were: Jamaal Wise with 16 points and 13 rebounds and Samuel Audet-Sow with 16 points.

Puerto Rico Capitanes Key players were: Elias Ayuso with 23 points, Haakim Johnson and Omar Alvarado with 13 points each.
